Pakistan, Iran Joint Economic Cooperation meeting begins in Tehran

Tehran, June 28 PPI: Pakistan and Iran Joint Economic Commission (JEC) meeting began here Saturday with focus on cooperation in trade, investment, transporation, communicxations, power, IT, telecommunication, agriculture, beanking, health, education.
Pakistan's delegation is led by Finance & Economic Affairs Minister, Syed Naveed Qamar and Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki heading his country's side.
Several MoUs are expected to be inked between two countries on conclusion of JEC session on Sunday.
Qamar will also meet senior Iranian officials including Ministers for Petroleum, Commerce & Finance.
The economic and commercial ties between two countries are promoted through institutional framework of JEC set up in 1986.
