ANAMA DESTROYS OVER 2.5 THOUSAND UXOS AND MINES IN FEBRUARY
Baku, March 7 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan National Mine Action (ANAMA) has cleared 2,006,240 sq. meters area of land from 2,794 Unexploded Ordnances (UXO) in February.
Demining operations involved 425 deminers, 6 mechanical demining machines, 30 mine mine detection dogs.
To date, ANAMA has cleared 126,278,663sq.m. of land, destroying 604,661 mines and UXOs.
The Agency has carried demining operations in Tartar, Agdam, Fizuli, Gadabay, Goygol and Garadag district of Baku.
