VENICE COMMISSION APPOINTS NEW SECRETARY
Paris, February 26 (AzerTAc). Thomas Markert has been appointed the Secretary of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe.
The Council of Europe`s Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland has announced at the Committee of Ministers his decision to appoint Markert as the Secretary of the Venice Commission.
Markert succeeds Gianni Bukikkio in the post.
