Imam Sajjad (AS) 'HR' treatise, translated into German

Tehran, Feb 21, IRNA – ‘Human Rights Treatise’ by Imam Sajjad (AS), the fourth Imam of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Household, was translated into the German language concurrent with the 60th anniversary of ratification of Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Translated by Iran’s Cultural Office in Germany, the treatise will soon be published by a German publisher.

Written some 1,300 years ago, it focuses on the rights to which human beings are entitled.

The treatise has earlier been rendered into other languages such as Spanish.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a declaration adopted by the United Nations General Assembly (10 December 1948 at the Palais de Chaillot, Paris).

The Guinness Book of Records describes the UDHR as the "Most Translated Document" in the world.

The Declaration arose directly from the experience of the Second World War and represents the first global expression of rights to which all human beings are respectfully entitled./end
