AZERBAIJAN PARLIAMENT SPEAKER MEETS FOREIGN MINISTER OF IRAN
Teheran, February 21 (AzerTAc). Visiting Speaker of the Azerbaijan Parliament Ogtay Asadov met here Sunday with Foreign Minister of Iran Manouchehr Mottaki to discuss bilateral ties.
“Iran-Azerbaijan relations are developing in all fields,” Mottaki said at the meeting.
Asadov noted existing opportunities must be effectively used in order to take Azerbaijan-Iran relationship forward.
Discussion at the meeting also revolved around peace talks on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, regional issues, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and other issues.
