AZERBAIJAN POSTS TRADE SURPLUS OF USD 8.6 BILLION

Baku, February 21 (AzerTAc). The individual persons and corporate bodies in Azerbaijan carried out foreign transactions with 137 countries in the amount of $20,800,000,000. The export accounted for 70.6% ($14,700,000,000) of the overall trade turnover while imported goods 29.4% ($6,100,000,000). The trade surplus came to $8,600,000,000.
Trade turnover with CIS countries added up to $3,000,000,000 and $17,900,000,000 with other countries.
