Production of "Jamaran Destroyer" to continue more rapidly : Official

Bandar Abbas, Feb 20, IRNA – Commander of the manufacturing plants of Iran's Navy said that the production of destroyers will continue, expressing his hope that the second vessel will be delivered to the Navy within the next 2 years.

Rear-Admiral Amir Rastegari told IRNA that by launching "Jamaran Destroyer", Iran joined 14 countries which manufacture destroyers and cruisers in the world.

He said that over 120 research, industrial and academic centers cooperated in manufacturing Jamaran destroyer, adding that such comprehensive cooperation will affect the quality growth of other industries, too./end
