VLADIMIR VIARDO PERFORMS IN BAKU
Baku, February 19 (AzerTAc). Prominent Russian pianist Vladimir Viardo has given a concert in Azerbaijan`s capital.
The concert, which saw Viardo perform to the accompaniment of Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, featured works by Azeri and world composers.
Viardo, who lives in the United States of America, gave several concerts at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln and Kennedy Centers, Salle Pleyel and the Concertgebouw. His tours took him to leading American, Canadian and European cities, Asia and South Africa as well as to Israel, Central and South America.
Viardo made numerous recordings for Melodiya, Pro Arte, Nonesuch, and Sony.
