AZERI CHESS PLAYER RANKS 2nd IN AEROFLOT OPEN TOURNAMENT

Baku, February 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Gulnar Mammadova has finished as runner-up at annual Aeroflot Open chess tournament in Moscow after drawing with Turkish Engin Topak in the last round.
The draw meant both players scored a total of 7 pts each, but Topak outclassed the Azeri player on average performance to claim the title of the tournament`s champion.
