SOFAZ EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PARTICIPATES IN EITI MEETING
Baku, February 17 (AzerTAc). Executive director of Azerbaijan`s State Oil Fund Shahmar Movsumov participated in the 11th meeting of international board of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) took place in Norwegian capital of Oslo.
The participants were informed that Afghanistan and Iraq have become the candidate countries to EITI, the global standard for improved transparency in the oil, gas and mining sector. Annual report of EITI and the forthcoming tasks were also in the focus of meeting.
