Iran hopes Pakistan will fulfill promise on Rigi terrorists
Tehran, Feb 16, IRNA – A top Iranian security official has expressed hope that Pakistan would fulfill its promises on the Rigi terrorist grouplet.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA on Tuesday, Interior Ministry Deputy for Security and Law Enforcement Affairs Ali Abdollahi said Pakistan had promised to cooperate with Iran in matters pertaining to the Rigi terrorist grouplet and hoped the Pak officials would stand by all their promises.
He said Iran has restricted operations by the Rigi grouplet in the past four months, paralyzing the terrorists in any kind of operations.
Referring to the recent inspections by Iran’s interior minister from borders in eastern parts of the country and the no-man’s zone in recent days, he further said the borders enjoyed full security in those parts./end
