SPANISH AMBASSADOR HANDS OVER COPIES OF CREDENTIALS TO AZERBAIJANI FM
Baku, February 15 (AzerTAc). Incoming Spanish ambassador Joan Clos i Matheu has today presented a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov.
The Spanish diplomat expressed satisfaction with his appointment as the ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Matheu stressed there is enormous potential for development of cooperation in a number of fields. He pledged to make every effort to expand Azerbaijan-Spain relationship.
Azerbaijani FM congratulated the Spanish diplomat on his appointment. He stressed the need to effectively use existing opportunities to intensify Azerbaijan-Spain ties.
