AZERBAIJAN ADD TO MEDAL HAUL IN ISTANBUL
Baku, February 14 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan have added three golds, two silvers and a bronze to their medal tally on the second day of annual Yasar Dogu tournament in Istanbul.
Zalimkhan Huseynov and Sharif Sharifov have come out at top in the men`s 60kg and 84kg classes respectively.
Another gold was won by Olesia Zamula who defeated her teammate Katerina Dombrovskaya in an all-Azerbaijani final in the women`s 63kg division.
Tokhtar Temrezov weighing in at 120kg added to Dombrovskaya `s silver, while Azerbaijan`s only bronze medal came from Gozal Zutova also in the women`s 63kg class.
Azerbaijan`s overall medal tally now stands at 10, including 6 golds.
