AZERI OMBUDSPERSON MEETS ITALIAN AMBASSADOR
Baku, February 13 (AzerTAc). Azeri Human Rights Commissioner, Ombudsperson Elmira Suleymanova has today met Italian ambassador Mario Giorgio Stefano Baldi.
The two discussed a wide range of issues, including bilateral relations between the two countries.
Suleymanova raised awareness of the diplomat about activities of the Ombudsman Office, in particular regional and international cooperation.
The ombudsperson also touched upon National Action Plan on Human Rights Protection, saying it “opens new possibilities in strengthening the human rights protection in the country”.
