AUSTRIA-AZERBAIJAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SET UP IN VIENNA
Baku, February 12 (AzerTAc). The first meeting of Austria-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce took place in Vienna.
Speaking to the conference, Azerbaijan Ambassador to Austria Fuad Ismayilov said economic relations between Azerbaijan and Austria were rapidly developing. The Austrian Embassy is expected to be opened in Azerbaijan in 2010, he said. Creation of Chamber of Commerce will make a contribution to deepening economic relations in future, Mr. Ismayilov added.
One of the founders of Chamber, head of “ASP Holding GmbH” Alon Shlarek said the aim of the chamber is to develop business relations not only between Azerbaijan and Austria but also between Azerbaijan and the Central Europe.
Mr. Shlarek was appointed as President of the Chamber, Azerbaijani ambassador Fuad Ismayilov as honorary President.
Secretary General of the Chamber Alexander Bedensky said the structure will study business opportunities in Austria and the EU and establish business relations.
Website of the Chamber will be launched late February in Azeri, German and English.
