FAMOUS RUSSIAN PIANIST VIARDO TO PERFORM IN BAKU
Baku, February 12 (AzerTAc). Well-known Russian pianist Vladimir Viardo will give a concert in Azerbaijan`s capital next Thursday. The concert will feature works by Azeri and world composers. Viardo will perform to the accompaniment of Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra.
Viardo, who lives in the United States of America, gave several concerts at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln and Kennedy Centers, Salle Pleyel and the Concertgebouw. His tours took him to leading American, Canadian and European cities, Asia and South Africa as well as to Israel, Central and South America.
Viardo made numerous recordings for Melodiya, Pro Arte, Nonesuch, and Sony.
