AZERBAIJAN OPENS FIRST REGIONAL E-LIBRARY
Baku, February 11 (AzerTAc). A first regional electronic library has been inaugurated in Barda region of Azerbaijan as part of a state program to develop the library and information sector in the country.
Attending the launch ceremony, Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev said the opening of the library would contribute to raising the international community`s awareness about the history and development of Azerbaijan.
He said measures would be continued to open libraries in other regions of the country.
