AZERI SCIENTIST PARTICIPATES IN CONFERENCE ON FOOD SECURITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE IN JORDAN
Baku, February 11 (AzerTAc). Head of the Genetic Resources Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Zeynal Akbarov participated in international conference on food security and climate change in dry areas held in Jordanian capital of Amman.
Influence of climate changes on natural resources, agriculture, ecology, food security was in the focus of conference.
Mr. Akbarov informed the conference participants about progress achieved in protection of environment and biodiversity of the country.
The event was organized by International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA), Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) in partnership with regional agricultural institutions.
