AZERI ORGANIZATIONS DISCUSS SITUATION OVER NAGORNO-KARABAKH CONFLICT WITH US SENATORS
Baku, 8 February (AzerTAc). Head of US Azeris Network (USAN), leaders of Azerbaijani-American, Azerbaijani-Jewish and Turkish-American Diaspora organizations joined an annual lunch with US senators and congressmen.
The members of the Senate and Congress were aware of growing importance of Azerbaijani-American community, strategic relationship between the US and Azerbaijan as well as a long-standing friendship with Israel and multi-ethnic Azerbaijani society.
Issues of international and energy security, occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia and course of negotiations on resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh were in the focus of meeting.
