PROMINENT AZERI COMPOSER`S JUBILEE MARKED IN MOSCOW
Moscow, 6 February (AzerTAc). The 65th anniversary of the Azerbaijan`s prominent composer and singer, now head of the diplomatic mission to the Russian Federation, Polad Bulbuloglu was marked in Moscow.
Congratulatory messages from the Russian president Dmitry Medvedev, his spouse Svetlana Medvedva and Premier of Russia Vladimir Putin were read out at the jubilee ceremony held at the Moscow`s “Yevropeysky” Trade-Entertainment Complex.
Dmitry Medvedev`s letter said Polad Bulbuloglu, “in the capacity of ambassador of Azerbaijan, does a lot for development of bilateral and partnership relations between the two countries and nations, and pays great attention to expansion of versatile humanitarian cooperation in the CIS space”. “You are loved and known in Russia as an old and good friend, influential statesman and public figure. Your aspirations to strengthen traditional ties and contacts between Russia and Azerbaijan are highly estimated,” Vladimir Putin`s message said.
Polad Bulbuloglu was also congratulated by other prominent politicians, men of culture and literature, renowned public figures.
Representative of the RF State Duma, chairman of the Peace Fund Leonid Slutskiy presented to Polad Bulbuloglu the “Golden Medal of Peace” for invaluable contributions to development of Azerbaijan-Russia friendly relations.
