AZERBAIJAN ‘STRATEGIC PARTNER’ FOR CZECHIA
Baku, 4 February (AzerTAc). “Azerbaijan is a strategic partner for Czechia. The two countries enjoy good level of relations,” Czech ambassador Radek Matula has told Samad Seyidov, chairman of Azeri Parliament`s department for international and interparliamentary relations, rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages.
The diplomat said the bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Czechia covered various fields, including politics, economy, trade, education, culture and health.
Matula also stressed the importance of expanding the interparliamentary cooperation.
Seyidov echoed the ambassador`s words, saying a parliamentary delegation from Azerbaijan was expected to visit Czechia shortly.
Touching upon the educational cooperation, Seyidov praised the contribution of a Czech language center in the Baku Slavic University to strengthening the bilateral ties.
He said the Azerbaijan University of Languages enjoyed “close” relations with various universities of Czechia.
