PACE MONITORING COMMITTEE CO-RAPPORTEURS TO VISIT BAKU
Baku, February 4 (AzerTAc). PACE co-rapporteurs for the monitoring of Azerbaijan Andres Herkel and Joseph Debono Grech will make a visit to the country on February 7, MP Gultakin Hajibayli said.
According to Hajibayli, during the visit the co-rapporteurs will have meetings with officials of Milli Majlis, ministries of Justice and Foreign Affairs, Central Election Commission, as well as representatives of NGOs and political parties.
The co-rapporteurs will draw up a report on Azerbaijan`s honoring its commitments and obligations towards the Council of Europe and democratization process in the country.
The report will be discussed by the PACE Monitoring Committee.
