TURKISH JOURNALISTS VISIT AZERTAC
Baku, February 3 (AzerTAc). A group of Turkish journalists led by deputy chairman of Turkish Journalists Union and chief of Alanya Journalists Association Mehmet Ali Dim have today visited the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc) where they met Director General Aslan Aslanov.
Aslanov briefed the Turkish journalists on the history of AzerTAc.
The Director General also spoke of national leader Heydar Aliyev `s care and attention to AzerTAc, which allowed the agency expanding its international relations.
According to Aslanov, AzerTAc cooperates with the Turkish Anadolu Agency both directly and within some international organizations.
He also touched upon cooperation within the Association of News Agencies of Turkic Speaking Countries (TKA).
For his part, Mehmet Ali Dim said such meetings contribute to expanding “our media cooperation.”
He also noted the delegation members also visited Guba mass grave where they were “shocked by the savageries committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis.”
