AZERI TAEKWONDO FIGHTERS TO VIE FOR MEDALS IN SWEDEN
Baku, 3 February (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s taekwondo fighters will compete in an international Trelleborg Open tournament starting in Sweden on Saturday.
The Azeri squad will include Vugar Karimov weighing in at 54 kg, Ziya Gasimov, Elchin Aliyev and Vusal Namazov at 63 kg, Ramin Azizov at 80 kg and Tavakkul Bayramov at 87 kg.
Laman Alakbarova weighing in at 49 kg, Arzu Bagirova at 53 kg, Sabina Mikayilova at 57 kg and Gunay Agakishiyeva at 63 kg will compete in the women`s event.
The tournament will bring together 850 fighters.
