Iran, Oman to establish joint bank
MUSCAT, Feb 1 (MNA) – The Iranian ambassador to Oman stated that Iran and Oman will establish a joint bank meant to increase financial transactions.
Hossein Noushabadi called establishment of a joint bank between Iran and Oman necessary for strengthening financial activities, saying it is a kind of guarantee for joint ventures.
He added that currently Melli and Saderat banks have branches in Oman and not only is it essential for these banks to be enhanced, but also a new bank must be founded.
Noushabadi pointed out that the two countries’ joint commission is working out ways to pave the way for establishing the new bank.
