Iranian coach named world’s best futsal coach
TEHRAN, Jan. 15 (MNA) -- Iranian national futsal team coach Hossein Shams was named the best world’s national team coach on Thursday.
Iran’s futsal team was chosen as the best national team of the world on Wednesday after its impressive performance last year.
“Under the supervision of Hossein Shams Iran turned into one of the most recognized futsal powers in 2009. There is no doubt about the fact that the World Cup 2008 was a brilliant example of this process, an improvement not wasted in the following year when Iran showed an impressive level of the game, an achievement also matched by great results and the Confederations Cup title,” Futsalplanet wrote in a statement.
