Japan Cultural Month kicks off in Iran

Tehran, IRNA - Japan Cultural Month organized by the Embassy of Japan in Tehran kicked off on Wednesday and will continue for one month in four locations in Iran. The themes of the event include clothes, fabric, silk thread, cinema, food, and anime. Addressing the event, the Japanese Ambassador in Tehran Kazutoshi Aikawa said that the program is intended to introduce Japanese culture to Iranians and bring these two nations closer to each other. Eight Iranian and Japanese cultural activists and citizens were awarded by the Japanese ambassador during the opening ceremony. The University of Tehran, Kashan University, Aseman Cultural Center, and the Japanese Embassy in Tehran will host Japan Cultural Month 2022 in the coming days and welcome those interested in Japanese culture and art.
