Meetings of president of International Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation continue in Qatar

Baku, September 5, AZERTAC President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva has met with Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Qatar Arman Issagaliyev and Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar Chingiz Eshimbekov as part of her official visit to Doha. During the meetings, the President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Gunay Afandiyeva, emphasized that the organization has been working towards creating a strong cultural bridge between different cultures and civilizations by bringing them together since its inception. She spoke about the projects implemented in the direction of promoting the rich heritage of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, which are the founding member states of the organization, as well as the entire Turkic world. The President of the Foundation noted that the organization is expanding its cooperation relations with other foreign countries day by day. The meetings focused on the importance of developing mutual dialogue between the cultures of the Turkish and Arab worlds, as well as taking joint steps in this direction. Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Qatar Arman Issagaliyev spoke about the importance of the Foundation's work in promoting the heritage of prominent representatives of Kazakh literature Abai Kunanbayev and Zhambyl Zhabaev at the international level, and assessed the organization's activity as an important contribution. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar Chingiz Eshimbekov stressed the importance of the projects implemented by the organization to bring to a wide audience the work of the famous Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, as well as to promote the ancient epic “Manas". The meetings continued with exchange of views on bringing Turkish and Arab cultures closer.
