Project Qatar and Hospitality Qatar 2022 Resumes Events of Their 7th Edition with Wide Participation

Doha, June 07 (QNA) - Project Qatar 2022 and Hospitality Qatar 2022 continued for the second successive day with a positive response from the stakeholders from construction and hospitality sectors. The events are hold under the patronage of HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani. Day two featured the training session Designing Workplace 2.0 - Post-Pandemic Times & Beyond boasted an insightful and inspiring for construction, hospitality, and tourism industry stakeholders. The session was designed to create awareness on the impact of changed workplaces in the post-pandemic world and opportunities they present. General Manager of IFP Qatar Haidar Mshaimesh said that "we are pleased with our decision to combine two most prominent exhibitions in the local market ahead of the FIFA World Cup. This has created opportunities for entities and exhibitors to act upon and build alliances, strengthening the construction and hospitality sectors in Qatar." The implementations of major projects by IFP Group across various sectors are in line with Qatars vision and National Development Strategy (NDS) 2017- 2022 aimed at creating conducive atmosphere to foster private-public participation. The Group is taking under consideration all the development that Qatar is achieving and creating a platform that showcases and supports the opportunities for both local and international market players. The mega event features more than 300 exhibiting companies, from over 180 global firms, seven of which participated in official national pavilions, along with 120 Qatari companies from major government and semi-governmental agencies and prominent private sector entities. On the sidelines of the exhibition, the QTerminals - Project Management Office (Hamad Port) will participate in Project Qatar 2022, as sliver sponsor, and its pavilion included its local and international accomplishments, in addition to informing participants and interested visitors of its future plans, as well as seeking to establish new partnerships with actors both in the local and international markets Corporate Communications Manager at QTerminals Noor Shahdad pointed out that the wide participation of the most prominent international companies in this event is considered an opportunity to introduce QTerminals, the role of Hamad Port and the premium services it provides as a gateway for the State of Qatar to trade with the world. She invited the exhibition visitors to visit the company's pavilion and get familiarized with the projects it carries out and the services it provides in the field of port management, development and operation. The activities of "Project Qatar 2022" and hospitality exhibitions were launched yesterday, Monday, and will continue until the 9th of this June, at Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC) under the theme "One Exhibition Multiple Opportunities", organized by the International Exhibition Company. The Public Works Authority "Ashghal" is co-sponsoring and supporting the exhibition as a strategic partner.
