The Gulf Inspection Committee Ends Its Visit To Basra

Baghdad / NINA / - The inspection committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation has completed its visit to the city of Basra in preparation for hosting the 25th edition of the tournament early next year. The committee, headed by the Secretary-General of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation, Jassim Al-Rumaihi, was briefed on the stadiums, hotels and the facilities, as well as the selection of accommodation for official and sports delegations and the media center. The committee also visited Al-Mina Stadium and followed up on the progress of its work, which has reached advanced stages, as it will enter active service to be on the list of approved Gulf championship stadiums. During its visit, the Gulf Inspection Committee discussed the structure of the executive committees and the Supreme Organizing Committee of the tournament. This visit is part of the periodic follow-up of the delegation of the Inspection Committee of the Gulf Cup Federation to the city of Basra, where it will submit a detailed report on the percentages of achievement and progress in work prior to hosting the Gulf Cup in Basra./End
