Bahrain Paralympic Committee chairman attends Badminton tournament

Manama, May17 (BNA): The International Paralympic Badminton Championship -2022 kicked off in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahrain Paralympic Committee and the Bahrain Badminton and Squash have joined hands to organize the tournament which will conclude on May 21. Bahrain Paralympic Committee Chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa attended the event and met players and members of the administrative and technical staff. He stressed the importance of the tournament, noting that Bahrain has become the second country in the Middle East to host this international event. He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his support to the sports for the disabled, commending the edict issued by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to establish the Bahrain paralympic Committee. He also highlighted the support of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
