Team Qatar Shooter Amal Mohamad Wins Bronze Medal in Asian Airgun Championships in Kazakhstan

Nour Sultan, September 14 (QNA) - Team Qatar shooter Amal Muhammad won the Bronze Medal at the individual level in the Mixed Shooting Rifle Competition for Moving Targets in the 14th Asian Airgun Championship which is currently being held in the city of Shymkent in Kazakhstan and will continue until September 20. The bronze medal is Amal's second medal in the championship, after winning the gold the rifle competitions for moving targets (slow-fast). More than 150 male and female shooters representing Qatar, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, India, Iran and Turkmenistan will participate in the competition in rifle, air pistol and moving targets competitions. The Qatari team includes Aisha Al Suwaidi, Shahd Al Darwish, and Amal Mohammed. In turn, member of the Qatar National Team Shooting Committee, Al-Anoud Al-Nuaimi, praised the results achieved by Amal in the Championship, and congratulated the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association and Qatar Olympic Committee for this honorable success. For his part, member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association, Abdullah Ali Al-Mutawa Al-Hammadi congratulated the Qatari delegation participating in the tournament on these successes.
