King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-existence Board of Trustees Chairman receives Egyptian ambassador

Manama, Jan. 13 (BNA): The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-existence Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Shaaban. The meeting confirmed the depth of Bahraini-Egyptian relations. Dr. Shaikh Khalid briefed the ambassador on the center’s most prominent objectives and projects and the details of the recent visit to Brazil, which was successful with the launch of the declaration of the Kingdom in the South American continent starting from the capital Brasilia and with the high blessing of His Majesty the King, and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. The ambassador presented a copy of the Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together, signed by Pope Francis of the Catholic Church and Shaikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, on February 4, 2019 in Abu Dhabi, as evidence of promoting a culture of mutual respect. Ambassador Shaaban praised the center’s remarkable role in translating the vision of HM the King into a tangible reality by launching unparalleled quality initiatives, thanks to their reliance on the principles of dialogue between all cultures, religions and civilizations on the basis of understanding and mutual respect.
