Kyrgyzstan registers record daily deaths from COVID-19

Bishkek, June 30, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 7 people with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 died in the last 24 hours, Mademin Karatayev, the deputy health minister of the republic said. New coronavirus-related deaths were recorded in the Republican Clinical Hospital - 2 (men 55 and 76 years-old), in the Osh City Clinical Hospital - 2 (women - 70, 49), in Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 2 - 1 (woman, 27), in the Jaiyl territorial hospital - 1 (man, 44), in the Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital - 1 (man, 53). Thus, Kyrgyzstan's death toll from coronavirus has climbed to 57. Kyrgyzstan's confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 5,296 after 279 new COVID-19 positive cases were confirmed on Tuesday. The number of patients discharged from hospitals rose by 76, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,370. Meanwhile, 721 people remained hospitalized, 23 patients are in intensive care. In addition, 2,148 asymptomatic patients are in home quarantine.
