Bahrain Embassy in Cairo marks national milestone

Cairo, Feb.13 (BNA): Ambassador -Designate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder has extended congratulations and greeting to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister and to the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the 19th Anniversary of the National Action Charter (NAC). Ambassador Al-Jowder, during the ceremony held by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Cairo, assured to the embassy’s diplomats and employees on this occasion that the National Action Charter constitutes an sagacious insight of His Majesty the King in the building of a modern and developed Bahrain. NAC, he said, represents a distinguished qualitative shift through which an advanced new phase of life was launched fort of all Bahrainis and established for them uniting invariables and principles that have formed over the past years a real starting point for honorable achievements at various levels and made of Bahrain a unique model of its kind in terms of reforms, democratic transition, social justice and development in various fields, earning the kingdom widespread respect and appreciation at regional and global levels. The ambassador considered anniversary of the National Action Charter as representing a form of solidarity between the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s transition to the era of reform, democracy and development through the historical vote on the Charter, which clearly expressed the will of the people who opted for the document to be a basis for work and serious nation building at present and in the future. He pointed out that the basic elements of the National Action Charter formed a clear vision of participation and responsibility among all, and this was evidenced by the pioneering accomplishments that the Kingdom has achieved at various levels. On the sidelines of the celebration, the Kingdom's Embassy in Cairo held an educational contest for the embassy staff, entitled "Here is Bahrain", which included questions in various political, diplomatic, cultural, social and sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
