‘Baku Process contributes to promoting peace among peoples and cultures’

Paris, June 12, AZERTAC “Baku Process contributes to promoting peace among peoples and cultures,” said former deputy director at the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), founder and CEO of The Global Compass, and member of the Baku Process working group Jean-Christophe Bas in his interview with AZERTAC. “I have attended the Baku Process, the 10th anniversary of which we mark, since the very beginning. I represented the UNAOC at the first preparatory meeting on Baku Process. Today we see it has yielded great results,” he said. He noted that the process plays a crucial role in promoting intercultural dialogue. “For 10 years, Azerbaijan has been bringing together officials, scientists, and business people from different countries to share their experiences, develop cooperation and promote peace among peoples and cultures through intercultural dialogue. Azerbaijan plays an exceptional role in the Baku Process,” Jean-Christophe Bas added. Shahla Aghalarova Special Correspondent
