Royan Institute's Collaboration to Establish a Stem Cell Medicine Center in Iraq

Royan Institute of Jahad-e-Daneshgahi is collaborating with officials from Iraq's Ministry of Health to establish a national center for stem cell and regenerative medicine in Iraq.

According to Mehr News Agency, during a meeting between several directors and professors from Royan Institute and Iraq's Ministry of Health, the establishment of this national center in cooperation with Royan was emphasized. This meeting focused on the collaboration needed for planning and launching the national center for stem cells and regenerative medicine in Iraq, and it was successfully conducted alongside the participation and lectures of the Royan faculty members at the "Second Iraq Cancer Conference."

The meeting, held at Iraq's Ministry of Health and attended by the Minister, deputy ministers, and directors, as well as relevant academic faculty members, led to an agreement to sign a bilateral memorandum of understanding and, subsequently, a formal contract in the near future.
