Thai police's probe on detained terrorist suspect continuing

BANGKOK, January 24 (TNA) - Thai police have continued their investigation into a recent arrest of suspected Lebanese terrorist Atris Hussein, his connection with the Hezbollah militant group in the Middle East and a subsequent seizure of explosive precursors in Bangkok's suburban Samut Sakhon Province. Thai Deputy National Police Chief Police General Pansiri Praphawat said Tuesday that local police have reached and questioned a supplier of containers the suspect had bought to keep ammonium nitrate, an explosive precursor. Meanwhile, Thai police are hunting for another suspected terrorist, identified as Sammy Paolo, with the deputy national police chief foreseeing Thai police investigators to conclude the case within this week, whether the detained Lebanese suspect has been involved with the hard-line Hezbollah group.
