Qatar 2022 Secretary General Meets FIFA Chief

Doha, December 11 (QNA) - Secretary General of the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee Hassan Al Thawadi met today with President of the International Football Federation (FIFA) Joseph Blatter. During the meeting, the Committee gave a comprehensive presentation on the ongoing preparations to host the World Cup, saying: "I am impressed with the level of preparations for the 2022 World Cup. Our Qataris colleagues and friends are doing a very professional job." His visit follows a meeting last week in Doha between senior officials from FIFA and Qatar 2022 during which organizers presented their strategic goals, objectives and projects, including their first draft of a Grand Master Schedule for Stadia Construction.
