Paris Saint-Germain Team Heads to Doha Friday

Doha, December 27 (QNA) - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will travel to Doha tomorrow for its ten-day winter training camp and a football friendly match with local team Lekhwiya. The visiting team will Saturday start its training drill at Aspire Complex from 10 am to 6pm. This schedule will continue up to January 1, according to the itinerary posted on the French club's website. On January 2, PSG will play a friendly match with two-time Qatar Stars League champions Lekhwiya at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd 5.30 pm onwards. The French club will resume its training schedule on January 3 and conclude the camp on January 5 and head back home to play Arras FC at Stade de l Epopee on January 6 in the Coupe de France Round of 64. PSG are currently leading French Ligue 1 with 38 points on the basis of a better goal difference of +24. Olympique Lyonnais and Olympique de Marseille also have 38 points each from 19 game, but their goal difference is +16 and +4. PSG and Lyon have won 11, drawn five and lost three each, but PSG have hammered 36 goals and conceded 12 while the latter have scored 33 and conceded 17. Marseille have won 12 matches, but lost five and drawn two. They have scored 24 goals and conceded 20. PSG's key players are 31-year-old Swedish star Zaltan Ibrahimovic who has scored 20 goals from 23 matches this season. Other players who have made a difference to PSG's progress are Italian goal-keeper Salvatore Sirigu, Brazilian defender Maxwell, French forward Gemeiro Kevin who has scored five goals from 12 games.
