Azerbaijani weightlifter claims silver in Ankara tournament

Baku, November 17, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s weightlifter Omar Javadov (73kg) has won a silver medal in the international tournament in memory of Naim Suleymanoglu, a triple Olympic gold medal winner, in Ankara, Turkiye. He sealed the medal after lifting 138kg in the snatch event. The tournament brought together 72 athletes from 16 countries.
