TurkPA session opens in Bishkek

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 14 / Trend V. Zhavoronkova/ The third plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking states (TurkPA) opens in Bishkek, KyrTAG reported on Thursday. The session started with the ceremony of chairmanship transfer from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan. The Bishkek Declaration will be the final document of the plenary session. Following the meeting the parliamentary heads will hold a press conference. The upcoming meeting of the TurkPA, which consists of four standing committees, will consider the issues of intensifying the inter-parliamentary dialogue, reports on the conducted work will be heard, draft proposals and recommendations on the development of cooperation within TurkPA will be announced. It is expected to discuss the activities of the TurkPA commissions on international cooperation on social, cultural and humanitarian issues in economics, trade and finance.
