Turkish President: The Patriotic War, which ended occupation of Karabakh, is the latest example of our solidarity

I wholeheartedly believe that our relations, underpinned by our brotherly bonds, will be further expanded on the basis of strategic advantages we have,” said President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan as he addressed the expanded meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Turkiye and Turkmenistan in the city of Turkmenbashi. “Our goal is to evaluate the new opportunities developing both globally and regionally in the interests of the well-being of our people and stability of our region. God willing, we, as brothers, will succeed in all matters that we act in solidarity on. The Patriotic War, which ended nearly 30 years of occupation of Karabakh, is the latest example of this. Our Organization of Turkic States is extremely important in this regard. Turkmenistan, which joined our organization as an observer last year, will become a fully-fledged member soon, which will further multiply our strength. My dear brother Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov`s joining the Council of Elders of our organization has expanded our ranks. The admission of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as an observer at the Samarkand Summit also strengthened our unity and equality,” the Turkish President emphasized.
