Turkey liquidates Committee for Turkish-Armenian ties

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 18 / Trend, A.Taghiyeva / The National Committee for Turkish-Armenian Relations under the Council of Higher Education, etablished in Turkey in 2003, was liquidated, Gazeteport reported. The committee was engaged in research in Armenian-Turkish relations, Armenian culture, politics and history. Two members of the Council of Higher Education, seven experts on the Caucasus and Armenia, and five researchers working in public and private institutions were involved in the committee.
