Technical details of new Turkish mosque construction specified in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 2 / Trend M. Aliyev / The process of clarifying the technical details for the Turkish mosque construction is being implemented in Azerbaijan, head of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Elshad Iskandarov told media today. "After this process is over, the new mosque will be built and commissioned in a short time," he said. He said that the mosque to be built in Baku will become a symbol of friendship between the two brotherly countries - Azerbaijan and Turkey. He added that this idea is an initiative of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. "This issue is being discussed with the Turkish side," he said. "The project is being implemented upon the parties' agreement. The Turkish side appreciated this project.
