Rouhani: US not capable of affecting will of Iranian people

Tehran, Dec 6, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said the US could in no way have an impact on the will, resistance, and persistence of the Iranian nation. Addressing a gathering of students at Tehran University on Tuesday, he said his government took every step regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in consultation with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in many sessions held with him. He said he endeavored to carry out all orders and guidelines given by the Supreme Leader on the issue. The President said he relied on the guidelines to pass through critical stages during the nuclear negotiations and what encouraged everybody was the bright perspective of future. 1378/IRNA
