Kazakhstan and Turkey concluded agreements on cooperation

Astana, February 12 2009, Khabar - Kazakhstan and Turkey concluded new agreements – memorandum on intentions between Ministry of Emergencies of RK and General directorate on emergencies of Turkey and on mutual understanding between statistics bodies.
The documents have been signed during the meeting of Ahmet Davutoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey with State Secretary-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kanat Saudabayev. They also discussed realization of strategic agreements, which had been achieved during last year visit of Nursultan Nazarbayev to Turkey. One more theme of negotiations was perspectives of development of bilateral relations and interaction in framework of such structures as OSCE and CICA. The countries lead these two organizations this year.

Kanat Saudabayev, State Secretary-Minister of Foreign Affairs of RK:
- We have complete agreement and large optimism in further development in all spheres of our large-scale cooperation. Besides, me and my colleague have discussed international cooperation at the international arena, first of all on successful chairing of OSCE by Kazakhstan.

Ahmet Davutoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey:
- We are glad Kazakhstan under the leadership of Nursultan Nazarbayev achieved high results. Your success is our success and therefore we are sincerely glad with your successes. Bilateral relations are at very high level and we must strengthen them. We agreed with Kanat Saudabayev to meet more often, more than once per year.

And during the meeting of Ahmet Davutoglu with Prime Minister Karim Massimov it has been said that it is necessary to increase goods turnover between countries and raise investments into Kazakhstan’s economy. They also have spoken about expanding of partnership in sphere of transport and energy.
