Azerbaijani State Committee ready for dialogue with all non-radical communities

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 5 / Trend M. Aliyev / The Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations is ready for dialogue with non-radical religious communities. Their activity is focused on Azerbaijan's development, head of the State Committee Elshad Iskandarov told media today. He said that the main activity of the committee will focus on prophylactic work in this area, the development of Azerbaijani statehood, ideology and propaganda in this direction. He stressed that the issue of the Abu Bakr mosque requires additional investigation. "All decisions about the places of worship are accepted within the law," he said. "We approach these processes taking into account the principle of preserving the Azerbaijani traditions and observing the requirements of the legislation."
