Azerbaijani Defence Ministry: Armenian President tries to deceive his people and international organizations

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 8 / Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / Wide dissemination of false information was the main aim of the Armenian government, which tries to get out of the situation created after the country's armed provocations on the front line, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said. "A lie is deeply rooted in the Armenian state. All management of the country is built on lies and fiction. Tension of the internal situation is due to this. Scanty informing public, concealment of losses and the failure of their policies even more aggravated popular discontent. This is clearly evident in the analysis of continuous flow of misinformation that is published in the media of the country. This campaign is headed by president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan," Azerbaijani Defence Ministry spokesman, Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu said in an interview with Trend. He said Sargsyan tries to deceive his own people and international organizations. "Apparently, he was in a deadlock, and therefore is engaged in such shameful things. All economic mechanisms, social relations in the country got mixed. High result achieved by Azerbaijan at the NATO Summit in Chicago, and the last failure of Armenia on the front line allow us to imagine the situation there. Mask, torn off Serzh Sargsyan, one might say, is torn," Sabiroglu said. He said special attention is drawn to the main features of Sargsyan as a criminal and murderer of children. "These qualities are known throughout the world. Sargsyan is a criminal president who participated in the Khojaly genocide, murder of infants and pregnant women. Blood of a nine-year Fazil Badalov, killed by Armenians on March 8 last year, also lies on his conscience. This child didn't hold a weapon in his hands and did not really understand what war is. He was killed by an Armenian sniper's bullet when playing in the street. What his fault, and many like him? Sargsyan and his team are responsible for the deaths of these children. But the time when they all will answer for their crimes is near," Sabiroglu said. He said these people not feeling any pangs of conscience, are engaged in disinformation of their citizens and the international community. As if the blame for the tension on the front line lies on the Azerbaijani side. This is nothing but an attempt of the Armenian leadership to hide their crimes," the Defence Ministry spokesman said.
