About 130 civilians killed in Syrian clashes

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 22 / Trend, A.Taghiyeva / Some 128 civilians were killed in clashed between Syrian government forces and armed opposition yesterday, Al-Jazeera TV channel reported. Most of those were killed in the cities of Daraa, Douma, and Homs. Also the clashes killed about 50 soldiers of the Syrian army and 10 militaries, who joined to the opposition. Syria has been covered by anti-government protests for more than year resulting in violent clashes. According to UN figures, the total number of victims in the country exceeds 12,000. Since April, a truce has been declared in the country in accordance with the plan of the UN-Arab League special envoy Kofi Annan.
